Accounting Support Representative

LHH is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support the accounting team with document processing, data entry, auditing, and clerical accounting functions. This is a detail-oriented role that requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor a shared Outlook mailbox for contractual, financial, and supporting documents
• Scan, index, and accurately upload documents into the company's database using imaging software
• Review and audit land contract documents for accuracy and completeness
• Enter and process new land contract files into JDE (AS400) within established deadlines
• Verify worksheets for accuracy, including spelling and punctuation
• Sort, organize, and maintain records according to established procedures
• Send email notifications to internal departments when contracts and supporting documents have been processed
• Assist with various clerical accounting and treasury functions
• Support special projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience, college/technical school coursework, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• JDE/AS400 experience is a plus
• Previous experience working with contracts or legal documentation is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Professional communication skills and ability to interact positively with internal teams

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
