Line Cook

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes according to recipes, and ensuring that food is prepared and presented with high quality and consistency. What You'll Do:

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients
• Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications
• Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
• Maintain a clean and organized station throughout your shift
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Assist with cleaning and closing duties at the end of service
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team

What You Bring:

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain one)
• Language Skills
• Experience as a line cook in a similar environment preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
