Position Title CONSTRUCTION LOGISTICS SPECIALIST IV (Roadway Coordination and/or Terminal ARM) Job Details Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $165,000 - $172,000 Employee Benefits Full benefits as a W2 employee. No per diem or relocation package. Responsibilities Identify areas of potential overlap of work and recommend opportunities for efficient packaging and procurement. Stay current with scope and schedule for all current and future airport projects. Extract look‑ahead data concerning barricades, utility shutdowns, and other actions that impact LAWA and/or tenant operations. Interface with utility shutdown experts and engineering technical support to recommend timing of utility shutdowns. Review and comment on Area Shutdown Request ensuring adherence to the LAWA Standards. Recommend procedures and protocols to the CALM Manager. Develop appropriate tracking and record‑keeping tools. Provide progress reporting documents and briefing materials as required. Attend multiple daily project meetings to gather activity information. Read and interpret project plans, schedules, Gantt charts, and other documents. Ensure activity impact information flows among project stakeholders. Liaise with third‑party entities whose construction efforts may overlap. Contribute to program goals through commitment to productive collaboration with all stakeholders. Work closely with CALM Manager to ensure information is accurately portrayed and up to date. Produce monthly and yearly team reports for executive management to highlight team accomplishments. Support the CALM Manager with all project‑related data for Coordination and Logistics Management (CALM) Team within Airport Development Group at LAX to minimize construction‑related impacts for tenants and passengers while preventing construction conflicts and expensive redesigns for all terminal improvements. Professional Experience and Qualifications Problem solver with strong ability to prioritize and switch gears in fast‑paced environment. Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design skills, including verbal presentation abilities. Proven accuracy, reliability, priority setting and completeness in job accomplishment. Excellent written communication skills and ability to communicate complex issues to a non‑technical audience. Ability to work under pressure on high‑profile complicated assignments. Understanding of intent and process across various construction delivery methods. Superior project management and time management skills. Team player willing to learn and share information. Ability to read design plans, maps and interpret construction language. Knowledge of wayfinding concepts and mapping technologies. Experience with technologies and best practices across multiple platforms. Education 20+ years of experience, preferably on airport building programs or similar complex building programs. Bachelor’s degree in architecture, aviation, business, engineering, construction management, planning or related technical field required. Master’s degree preferred. Hardware / Software Knowledge Experience combining and formatting multiple digital file document types to present compiled information concisely. Proficiency with MS Office Suite (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience using Bluebeam. Element‑Specific Requirements May assume other duties as required/needed. May work overtime. Might be required to work various shifts as needed.
