Social Media Community Manager

Monitor social media channels and engage with consumers on behalf of assigned brands Identify social trends and content inspiration to generate, recommend, and develop social media content ideas Capture content as needed to support social content plans and make minor design edits Publish and boost social media posts across relevant channels Develop and report community insights using inbound social activity and external social listening Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain social media response guidelines and best practices Monitor and report on competitive social media activity Research and vet social media influencers for activations and content opportunities Ensure social media activations follow established policies and guidelines Escalate social media crisis events and communicate potential impacts to cross-functional teams Support new social channel launches by developing plans and documenting requirements for successful execution What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field 2+ years of community management experience Strong knowledge of social media best practices and current social media trends Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders Familiarity with social content creation tools, including native social media editing tools, CapCut, and Adobe Express Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with changing and complex demands Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills Proactive and independent approach to work About Dawson Dawson is a trusted staffing partner in Central Ohio.
