Medicaid Coordinator Opportunity
Hamilton Park Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Medicaid Coordinator to join the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY!
The Allure Group is a consortium of six rehabilitation centers across Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY, specializing in post-acute and sub-acute skilled nursing and rehabilitation. We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of care for patients of all ages and conditions while upholding an environment of kindness, dignity, and respect for employees and residents. As a Medicaid Coordinator at The Allure Group, you would be part of a winning team doing meaningful work to improve residents' quality of life, health, and comfort.
Medicaid Coordinator Responsibilities
- Screen, interview, and assess each resident to determine Medicaid benefit eligibility
- Receive and review admission forms for residents referred for Medicaid assistance
- Collect all necessary documents to apply for Medicaid
- Upload documents to be sent electronically to the Medicaid office
- Correspond with HRA case workers to get the status of Medicaid applications
- Follow up to ensure that all applications are approved
- Obtain necessary information to determine eligibility for financial aid
- Secure and complete appropriate forms in accordance with the established procedure
- Perform other job-related duties as directed by Supervisor
Medicaid Coordinator Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- COVID-19 Vaccination
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Marketing, Social Work, or a related field
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility or another healthcare-related facility
