Maintenance TechnicianInterflex Merrill - Merrill, WI 54452Level: Experienced Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Evening Education Level: High School Travel Percentage: None Category: ManufacturingDescriptionObserve mechanical devices in operation and listen to machinery to locate cause of trouble.Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using rulers, calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments.Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments, using appropriate tools.Repairs and replaces defective parts.Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.Starts devices after repair to ensure that the machine is operating correctly.Completes preventive maintenance on all machines according to the PM Schedule.Uses all of their resources to find the parts needed for repairs and passes this information on to the purchasing personQualifications3 years experience repairing and servicing a variety of machineryProven self-direction, must be able to work individually or in a team to complete equipment repairs.An effective listenerExcellent problem analysis and problem solving skillsDetail oriented with a focus on accuracyDemonstrates initiativeEffective in stressful situations and a high paced environmentMust follow all IFG Safety policies and proceduresMust understand and follow the IFG Work Order ProcedureMust have understanding and be able to work in Microsoft Word and Excel systemsEvery employee is expected to demonstrate the following core values: customer commitment, high performance culture, innovation, accountability, integrity, respect for others and teamwork.
