They're looking for a Client Services Director to own the client relationships, lead the team, and drive the growth of a business that's genuinely going places. GenAI runs through everything they do — their MR and IR tools, med affairs, commercial, advertising, omnichannel, promo and med ed. A genuinely creative business that's stayed close to the science, not a tech shop that stumbled into pharma, and not a traditional agency scrambling to catch up. 10+ years in, they landed in the US and are scaling fast: around 20 people here, 90 globally, with a serious international bench behind you. And the part I'd underline for anyone at this level — they're growing without PE interference . No pressure from above, no restructures, no redundancies. They've grown through this market on their own terms and are investing in people, not cutting them. For a leader, that means room to build properly rather than firefight someone else's numbers. The role You’ll own the senior client relationships across a portfolio of pharma and biotech accounts — the trusted strategic partner clients call first. You’ll set the account growth strategy, lead pitches and organic expansion, and turn client insight and industry shifts into a MedComm offer that keeps them ahead. You’ll build and lead the client services team — mentoring Account Managers and Project Managers, raising the bar on delivery, quality and compliance — and partner with Medical Directors, Creative and Technology to bring the agency's full capability to every brand. As part of the leadership group, you’ll help steer the US growth story itself: the team you hire, the accounts you chase, the standard you set. You’ll likely bring Significant account leadership experience in a Medical Communications agency, ideally to Group/Director level A strong track record with pharma and biotech clients across Medical Affairs, Med Education, Publications or Commercial programs Proven success growing accounts and winning new business — you own the number and love the hunt Real experience building, mentoring and scaling client services teams Senior client-partner credibility, sharp commercial judgement, and the strategic range to sit at the leadership table Why it's genuinely worth a look This is a build-it seat, not a caretaker one.
