Funding Assistant

ROLE SUMMARY The Funding Assistant supports our Legal Operations team by managing administrative tasks for our funding services to ensure assets transfer smoothly and accurately into trusts. QUALIFICATIONS Communicate professionally: excel in interpersonal and relationship-building skills, actively listen, show empathy, and influence others in verbal and written forms. Document information effectively, accurately, and promptly in software. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Experience in the legal industry is a plus but not a requirement. Be a self-starter who can proactively address issues on behalf of others. Dedicate yourself to continuous improvement to better serve our firm and clients. Solve problems with a relentless solution focus, being a fast learner and hard worker. Collaborate incredibly well with people, with a natural bias towards execution. Exhibit exceptional time management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Demonstrate above-average administrative/clerical/technical skills and proficiency in operating necessary office equipment and software. Maintain confidentiality regarding clients, firm interests, and employees. SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the primary administrative support for all funding activities, coordinating closely with clients and institutions under the direction of the Legal Operations Director. Communicate via Phone/E-Mail with clients to gather information and confirm asset details. Prepare detailed Family Wealth Inventory documents outlining client assets. Coordinate with financial institutions, advisors, and insurance agents to obtain client account information. Draft and prepare deeds, transfer forms, and related documents required for funding trusts. Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, data entry, and handling correspondence. Organize and maintain legal documents and files related to our funding process. Perform other duties as assigned.
