Registered Nurse (Psych) - Conroe, TX

Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Day and Night Shifts Available

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Behavioral Health team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health needs while supporting a safe, therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Supervise assigned staff and assist with daily unit operations.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in patient assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications Required

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required.
• Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• De-escalation certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
