Fueled by Passion, Purpose and Technology.At Slide, you will not only be part of a successful team, but you will also be a part of our Slide Vibe/award winning culture where collaboration and innovation are expected, recognized and awarded!What You'll DoLitigation LeadershipLead and mentor a team of Staff Counsel, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedbackPartner with Claims leadership to align litigation strategy, case evaluation, and settlement practicesServe as the primary escalation point for complex and high-exposure mattersPortfolio OversightMonitor litigation performance, exposure trends, and case progression across the team's portfolioConduct file reviews and provide strategic direction on discovery, mediation, and trial readinessCoordinate with Trial Counsel to ensure matters are appropriately prepared for trialCollaboration & Risk ManagementProvide timely legal guidance and recommendations to Claims and business partnersIdentify litigation risks and recommend strategies to support favorable outcomesPromote compliance with court requirements, ethical obligations, and company litigation standardsWhat You BringJuris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and active Florida Bar membership in good standing8+ years of litigation experience, including significant insurance litigation and 5+ years handling Florida first-party property claims2+ years of leadership experience with a proven track record of mentoring and developing attorneysStrong knowledge of Florida insurance law, civil procedure, evidence rules, and professional responsibility standardsDemonstrated ability to manage complex litigation, evaluate risk, negotiate effectively, and guide legal strategyTrial experience, including jury trial participation; second-chair trial experience preferredStrong leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skillsProficiency with Microsoft 365 applications Commitment to living Slide's Core ValuesWhat Slide Offers To YouThe Slide Vibe - An opportunity to be a part of a fun and innovation-driven culture fueled by Passion, Purpose and Technology!
