Fueled by Passion, Purpose and Technology.At Slide, you will not only be part of a successful team, but you will also be a part of our Slide Vibe/award winning culture where collaboration and innovation are expected, recognized and awarded!Slide Insurance is currently hiring multiple Staff Counsel attorneys to support our growing legal team.Opportunities are available in both Pre-Suit and Litigation capacities.What You’ll DoPre-Suit Staff CounselManage pre-litigation claims and legal matters.Provide legal guidance during claim investigations and negotiations.Partner with claims professionals to resolve matters before litigation.Litigation Staff CounselHandle cases through all phases of litigation.Conduct depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trials.Manage litigation strategy and represent the company in court.What You BringJuris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and active Florida Bar membership (in good standing)4+ years of litigation experience in Florida; first-party property defense experience preferredStrong knowledge of Florida civil procedure, evidence rules, and insurance-related statutesExcellent written and oral advocacy, negotiation, and legal research skillsAbility to independently analyze legal issues and manage cases with minimal supervisionHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong commitment to professionalism, ethics, and Slide’s Core ValuesWhat Slide Offers To YouThe Slide Vibe - An opportunity to be a part of a fun and innovation-driven culture fueled by Passion, Purpose and Technology!
