Payroll Specialist

ResponsibilitiesProcess bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule using Workday Payroll.Review payroll data for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues before payroll is finalized.Audit timekeeping records, earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and benefit elections.Maintain teammate payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.Partner with HR, Benefits, Finance, and operational leaders to ensure teammate data changes are processed accurately.Respond to teammate payroll inquiries professionally and confidentially.Support payroll-related audits and prepare reports as requested.Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and reconciliation.Maintain payroll documentation, standard operating procedures, and process improvements.Recommend efficiencies and best practices within Workday to improve payroll operations.QualificationsHands-on experience using Workday Payroll (required).Strong understanding of payroll laws, taxes, wage and hour regulations, and payroll complianceHigh attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.Why Join Us?You'll become part of a team committed to supporting employees through accurate payroll, responsive service, and continuous process improvement.
