EHS Specialist

Overview Successful candidate will be part of a team that provides Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) support to a client manufacturing facility. This position works directly with the Safety Team as well as onsite engineers and facility. The candidate must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and have a strong analytical background. This position is full-time onsite. Responsibilities Work with client to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and facility environmental policies Leading/conducting respirator fit testing sessions Conducting LOTO assessments Confined space evaluations Create, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures Sampling events including area noise mapping, personal noise dosimetry, wipe sampling, air monitoring, etc Utilize the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sampling results management and supply ordering Additional responsibilities according to client needs Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline Prior customer service experience with great interpersonal and collaboration skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated and highly productive with the ability to balance multiple projects at once Possess the ability to follow good documentation practices and adapt to changing schedules Previous EHS experience is a plus Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws. U.S. Export Control laws and U.S. Government Department of Defense contracts and sub-contracts impose certain restrictions on companies and their ability to share export-controlled and other technology and services with certain non-U.S. persons.
