Position Kids Club Inclusion Site Specialist – 12 month position Location Varies – All elementary buildings; specific location(s) will be assigned and may change based upon student and program needs. Hours per Day Full‑Time Hours: Base Hours: 6.75‑7.25 hours/day (33.75‑36.25 hours/week – total hours will depend on program needs) School Year: Before and After School hours: 6:15‑9:30 AM and 2:00 or 2:30‑6:00 PM (afternoon start time based on site placement) Summer & Non‑School Days: Hours TBD (6.75‑8 hours/day, pending program needs) Part‑Time Hours: Base Hours: 3.25‑4 hours/day (16.25‑20 hours/week – total hours will depend on program needs) School Year: Before or After School hours:

Pay Starting Base Pay: $25.19 per hour. Anticipated Start Date: Flexible – Mid‑August or as positions become available. Job Summary The Inclusion Site Specialist works directly with all children in out‑of‑school programs, providing direct support for social‑emotional, health, safety, and behavior needs. The role collaborates with Site Supervisors, Out‑of‑School Time Site Support Specialists, and the Inclusion Coordinator to implement inclusion modifications and accommodations, support individual student needs, participate in trainings, and lead activities for all kids. Position Summary Work with all kids as a regular member of the Kids Club program; plan and lead activities; support out‑of‑school time programs as needed. Collaborate with staff to support invisible inclusion, intervene with positive behavior strategies, accommodations, and modifications. Inform supervisors and coordinators of observations regarding student adjustment, learning, social interaction, behavior, or physical functioning. Know and apply the health, safety, and behavioral needs of each child; recommend and implement reasonable accommodations. Float to sites where a reduced ratio or special support is required. Support special services to students with disabilities, including toileting, feeding, and medication administration in compliance with district and program policies. Maintain and update the Health, Safety and Inclusion binder, Site Support Plans, Inclusion Plans, and Special Needs Lists. Attend team meetings, site‑based events, trainings, and student support meetings as required. Communicate with families and district staff regarding student needs following policies and practices. Implement behavior management systems and program strategies; model appropriate behavior. Participate in annual professional development (minimum 20 hours/year for PT, 30 hours/year for FT). Create and implement lesson plans focused on social‑emotional learning. Maintain safety and security of children; manage attendance counts and documentation. Implement emergency procedures, building orientation, confidentiality, and reporting requirements; lead when supervisor is absent. Prepare equipment and materials, set up and clean up program areas, and assist with meal service. Maintain professionalism, fairness, confidentiality, respect, and equity. Support field trips and assist in planning and accommodating student needs. Adjust schedule for meetings, trainings, field trips, and summers. Back‑up Site Supervisor; open and close Kids Club sites. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or GED plus 12 credits or 120 hours of relevant training and 2080 hours of related experience; or AA degree or vocational certificate in education, child care, recreation, special education or related area plus 12 credits or 120 hours of relevant training and 1040 hours experience; or Baccalaureate degree in education, early childhood, recreation, special education or related area plus 12 credits or 120 hours of relevant training and 520 hours experience. Demonstrates appreciation for diversity in all interactions. Communicates confidentially, positively, and responsively with students, parents, co‑workers, supervisors and the community. Competent in computer functions including email, Google Drive, internet, Microsoft Word and Excel. Provides services to students as directed, respecting dignity and basic rights. Accepts work direction willingly and adapts assignments as needed. Models appropriate behavior, neat appearance, and proper grammar. Can lift and transfer up to 50 pounds. First‑aid and CPR certification (or obtained within 90 days). Prompt, regular, and reliable attendance.
