Contract | Days | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for surgical patients including those undergoing general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head and neck surgery
• Care for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies in a specialized ENT surgical unit
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition throughout the shift in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring patient safety and comfort

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated experience as a surgical RN with skills applicable to a medical/surgical setting
• Experience caring for patients with tracheostomies and/or laryngectomies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an ENT or head and neck surgical unit
• Experience with bariatric surgery patient populations
