About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Social Media Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our day-to-day social media content.

This role will be responsible for editing, creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging social media content while helping maintain a consistent and recognizable brand voice across platforms.

We are looking for a self-starter who takes initiative, recognizes opportunities for great content, stays on top of social media trends, and consistently brings new ideas to the table.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where creativity, responsiveness, and execution matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms
• Edit short-form video content, photos, graphics, captions, and other social assets
• Turn raw footage and company activity into polished, engaging social media content
• Develop compelling captions and written content that reflect the company's brand and voice
• Maintain an organized and consistent social media posting schedule
• Identify opportunities for content without requiring constant direction
• Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, viral content, sounds, formats, and best practices
• Proactively develop new content ideas and recommend ways to increase engagement and brand awareness
• Monitor social media activity and identify opportunities to engage with followers and the broader community
• Collaborate with leadership and team members to capture content surrounding events, products, promotions, and company initiatives
• Maintain consistency in branding, messaging, tone, and visual presentation across platforms
• Review content carefully for accuracy, grammar, spelling, and brand alignment before publishing
• Track content performance and use engagement data to help determine what types of content resonate with our audience
• Assist with developing and executing social media campaigns

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in social media marketing, social media management, digital marketing, or a closely related role
• Must live in the Las Vegas area. Role is not remote.
• Must have knowledge of and interest in Sports, Live Streaming, and Card Breaking
• Demonstrated experience managing social media content for a company, organization, or established brand
• Strong short-form video editing skills
• Experience creating content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant social channels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong copywriting, proofreading, and editing abilities
• Demonstrated history of taking initiative and working independently
• Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, engagement strategies, and platform best practices
• Ability to recognize what makes content interesting, entertaining, and shareable
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, professional content
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to accept feedback and quickly incorporate changes into content
• Experience using social media scheduling, analytics, graphic design, and video-editing tools

Industry Knowledge & Interest

• Genuine interest in and knowledge of sports, live streaming, and the card- breaking/collectibles industry.
• Familiarity with sports culture, trading cards, and live-streaming content is strongly preferred.
• Ability to understand industry trends, terminology, and audiences in order to create relevant and engaging social media content.
• Familiarity with Pokemon, TCG Games, and other Pop Collectibles highly preferred.
• Willingness to continuously learn about new products, trends, athletes, releases, and developments within the sports card and collectibles space.

Candidates do not need to be experts in every area, but a strong interest in sports, live streaming, and card breaking is essential for success in this role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with editing and design platforms
• Experience interpreting social media analytics and using performance data to improve content
• Photography or videography experience
• Experience developing content calendars and social media campaigns
• Experience working with entertainment, collectibles, e-commerce, live streaming, lifestyle, or other highly visual consumer brands

The role is full-time in office.

Candidates must be local to the Las Vegas area.
