Job Description Day-to-Day Manage employee Leave of Absence cases from intake through closure Coordinate benefits, reasonable accommodations, and return-to-work processes Handle employee relations matters, investigations, grievances, and employee counseling Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor regulations Support recruiting efforts including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding Administer employee benefits and retirement programs Maintain HRIS data and generate reports for leadership Assist with workers' compensation administration and tracking Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation Support training and development initiatives across the organization Conduct research, analysis, and reporting on HR-related projects Partner with internal stakeholders to support organizational HR needs Job Description: Insight Global is seeking an HR Generalist for a leading public transportation organization. This individual will serve as a key HR partner supporting a broad range of human resources functions, with a heavy focus on Leave of Absence administration, Employee Relations, and Employment Law compliance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who can independently manage sensitive employee matters, advise leadership on HR best practices, and ensure compliance with California labor regulations. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
