As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate and implement therapy techniques to relieve pain, restore function, and promote independence.

In this role, you will:

Evaluate and assess patients' abilities and limitations
Establish treatment plans and goals based on evaluations
Implement therapy using appropriate procedures and techniques
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy programs and injury prevention
Recommend and arrange for adaptive equipment
Re-evaluate patients and make discharge recommendations
Collaborate with other healthcare team members
Participate in program development and staff training
Provide documentation of patient care
Supervise aides, assistants, and students
Communicate effectively with physicians
Ensure accurate and timely patient charges
Promote infection control, safety, and ergonomic practices

Requirements:

Licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Iowa
Graduate of an APTA accredited college or university
Current BCLS certification
Need 1 year experience in setting
Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
