Substitute Food Service Associates

Lower Merion School District is hiring one or more substitute food service associates. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and outgoing personality, freedom from communicable diseases, and preferred experience with volume cooking and food handling. Employees must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Applicants must obtain Act 34 and 151 clearances and provide an FBI registration number.

This is a 4.5 hour/day position with ongoing need for both employees and daily substitutes. Pay is $15.25 per hour for substitutes, with opportunities for promotion to permanent food service associate positions starting at $20.00 per hour.
