Urban Family Brewing is opening a new Seattle waterfront location in late summer 2026! Located on Alaskan Way, Urban Family Waterfront will go far beyond the offerings of our current brewery. We'll be slinging the beers you know and love alongside craft cocktails, local wines and coffee. Our food program will feature grandma style pan pizzas made with slow fermented dough and high quality local artisan ingredients. Plus small plates, salads and soft serve ice cream.

We are looking for positive & creative people who want to work in a fast paced environment and share our passion for making the best food and drinks possible.

This is a great entry level position for passionate pizza cooks, line cooks and prep chefs with a possibility to move into leadership rolls. Full-time and part-time shifts are available.

Experience:

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods plus lift and carry heavy items.
• Ability to reach, bend and move quickly during peak busy times.
• Knife skills and familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment.
• Current food handler's permit.
• Reliable transportation.

Duties:

• Ability to follow instructions, recipes and uphold standards.
• Maintain a clean station and follow health department regulations.
• Proper labeling, dating and rotation of products and prepped ingredients.
• Ability to manage time well, multitask and work as a team.
• Hand stretching dough to consistent size and thickness.
• Quickly and accurately topping pizzas, salads, small plates etc.
• Operating a pizza oven and ensuring crust perfection.
• Mixing pizza dough, monitoring fermentation, balling portions.
• Preparing bulk recipes including dough, sauce etc and ensuring consistency.
• Ingredient prep including slicing vegetables, grating cheese and using a meat slicer.
• Restocking prep tables and paper goods.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
