Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology Service Assistant
Duties
The incumbent is responsible for assisting the service chief in leading the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology service, in conjunction with assisting section chiefs in this pursuit. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assessing patient conditions through examination, observation, and consultation with members of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Utilizing diagnostic and evaluative procedures consistent with current professional standards.
- Developing appropriate plans of care and delivering treatment based on evidence-based practice principles.
- Documenting evaluations, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with facility policy and completing all related patient-care tasks in a timely manner.
- Communicating findings to patients, families, and professional colleagues.
- Providing patient and family education, including obtaining informed consent when required
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday, Full Time, 7:30AM-4:00PM
Telework: May be ad-hoc available
