Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Dispatch in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care for people.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or delivery partners at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or facility concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures; report security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and documentation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
