Radiology - X-Ray

Overnight shifts, with a week on and a week off rotation. Job Description The Acute Care Radiology Technologist provides health care services related to X-Rays to assist in diagnosis or treatment. The role involves performing X-Ray procedures and related techniques to produce images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Responsibilities Perform radiographic exams as requested by healthcare providers. Conduct fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside radiology providers. Assist in procedures such as US guided paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis. Educate patients on preparation and post-care for radiology procedures. Assist with fluoroscopically guided PICC placements and C-arm fluoroscopy exams in the OR. Maintain documentation necessary for proper interpretation and reporting of exams. Participate in the implementation and improvement of hospital quality indicators. Educate radiography students and new hires on relevant diagnostic and operative guidance exams. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent. Montana Licensure (Radiology Technologist) and American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography. American Heart Association BLS certification within three months of hire. One year of prior radiology experience, which may include clinical internship experience. Demonstrated competency in advanced imaging techniques including fluoroscopic/C-Arm in the OR, trauma, and portable radiography within six months. Why ARMStaffing?
