Senior Manager, Temperature Control & Transportation As part of the Quality team at DePuy Synthes, this role focuses on continuously improving quality, cost, and time factors aligned with business objectives, while serving as the central point for quality assurance processes related to temperature control and transportation globally. Locations Mooresville, Indiana, United States Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, United States Raynham, Massachusetts, United States Warsaw, Indiana, United States Key Responsibilities Direct, control, and facilitate the Global Temperature & Transportation Control Support Center (TCSC) objectives and plans to meet tactical and strategic goals. Serve as the engineering expert for global temperature control, ensuring all projects align with TCSC goals and uphold good engineering practices. Maintain liaison with global units and independently resolve technical or business matters within the field. Develop policies and procedures for directed activities and participate in the formulation of compliant policies. Oversee implementation of projects using project‑management tools to drive continuous improvement and cost savings, including the qualification of temperature‑control solutions such as active and passive containers, thermal blankets, and monitoring devices. Act as the subject‑matter expert for collecting, analyzing, and reporting temperature data to inform science‑based decisions, advising business units on necessary temperature protection during transport. Provide leadership to team members, ensuring timelines and compliance goals are met for the Temperature Control Support Center activities. Manage ongoing benchmarking of the temperature‑control industry for continuous improvement, savings realization, and customer satisfaction. Monitor market trends, partner with external suppliers to evaluate, qualify, and deploy new technologies aligned with stakeholders and regulatory requirements. Provide assurance activities to qualify new suppliers and involve internal SMEs in supplier qualification as appropriate. Collaborate with supply‑chain and business unit partners to standardize temperature‑control processes. Take ownership of, and support, talent acquisition, performance, and development for self and others. Travel up to 10% domestically or internationally as required. Qualifications Minimum BA/BS in Engineering or a related field (MA/MS/MBA preferred). At least 8 years of related work experience. Knowledge of temperature‑controlled transportation, distribution, and storage. Understanding of cGMPs, international, federal, and local regulations for manufacturing, storage, transportation, and distribution of medical devices. Demonstrated ownership of talent acquisition, performance, and development. Commitment to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and accountability. Global mindset and ability to serve as a subject‑matter expert within the functional area.
