Property Management Operations DirectorDepartment: Property Management · FLSA: Exempt · Full-TimeABOUT THE ROLEPrime Group is looking for a seasoned operator ready to step into a #2 seat with real authority. You’ll lead daily operations across our multifamily portfolio, align our commercial, HOA, and vacation rental teams to a single standard, and act as Director when leadership is out — not as a placeholder, but as the person who keeps everything running at full speed.WHAT YOU’LL OWNPortfolio OperationsDay-to-day oversight of all multifamily communities with cross-portfolio coordination across commercial, HOA, and vacation rental lines.Team LeadershipDirect supervision and coaching of Regional Managers and on-site teams across all business lines.Financial OversightBudget preparation, monthly variance review, collections enforcement, and CAM reconciliation support.Maintenance & Capital ProjectsUnit turn oversight, preventive maintenance programs, and capital project coordination.Leasing & PerformanceLeasing performance standards, traffic reporting, closing ratios, and renewal rate monitoring across the multifamily portfolio.A TYPICAL WEEK MIGHT INCLUDEConducting property audits across communities and implementing corrective action plansReviewing monthly operating statements and drilling into variance reports with on-site teamsEscalating and resolving lease disputes, collections issues, or compliance gapsPartnering with the Director of Property Management on company-wide initiatives and personnel decisionsActing as the single point of escalation for all regional and on-site teams in the Director’s absenceOverseeing COI compliance for vendors, contractors, and tenants across the multifamily portfolioQUALIFICATIONSExperience: 5–8 years of progressive multifamily property management experience, including at least 2 years in a regional, multi-site, or senior operational leadership roleEducation: Bachelor’s degree required; Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field preferredCredentials: CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) preferred; ARM, CPM, or other industry designations a plusCross-Portfolio Knowledge: Exposure to commercial, HOA/association management, or vacation rental operations strongly preferredTechnology: Proficiency in Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar property management software; Microsoft Office SuiteSKILLS & ABILITIESStrong leadership with the ability to motivate and hold accountable a geographically dispersed teamExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interface with residents, boards, ownership, and vendorsFinancial acumen to read and apply operating statements, variance reports, and budget documentsSound judgment across a wide range of operational situations and property typesPrime Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr PMG Asset Services LLC
