Salary Range: $44,000 - $64,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Charlotte that are seeking Shipping & Receiving Clerks. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, inspect, and log incoming raw materials and components, verifying against purchase orders.
• Prepare and package finished goods for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation for various carriers.
• Load and unload trucks safely using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain organized inventory of received materials and finished goods in designated warehouse locations.
• Process shipping and receiving paperwork, including bills of lading, packing slips, and internal transfer documents.
• Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure timely material flow and shipment readiness.
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory to maintain accurate stock records.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Strong computer skills, including experience with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating an ERP system for inventory management
• Certification in forklift operation or other material handling equipment
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen)
• Proficiency in using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
