Machine Operator: ASHLAND, VA

Description

• Operate slitter machines to cut foil rolls to specified widths and lengths
• Set up machine parameters, blades, and cores based on product specifications
• Inspect finished rolls for proper tension, alignment, and quality standards
• Monitor operations and adjust settings to minimize waste and downtime
• Perform routine checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Keep production logs and ensure accurate documentation
• Adhere to safety protocols and report any issues promptly
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces around machinery

Work Environment

Non-climate controlled. Family oriented company. Train on a first shift before moving to a third shift ($3 pay differential)!

This is a Contract position based out of Ashland, VA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
