You will have the opportunity to share your technical knowledge to help strengthen our engineering community and further pursue your own learning of new technologies and platforms.The Skills You Bring7-10 years of software development experience in business critical, enterprise-wide applicationsExcellent mainframe skills in COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, IBM Utilities, FileAID, Endevor, SQL, Debuggers, Schedulers, and IOMsAbility to perform detailed analysis for maintenance and enhancement projects in the batch and online environments.Design, deploy and support software releases into production environmentsYou are detailed oriented and execute thorough unit, functional and regression testingAbility to perform hands on detailed analysisBe proactive in your work in development and designing solutionsExperienced in handling high severity/ critical production issuesExcellent documentation skillsProven Experience writing COBOL/Native stored procedures is a plus (Nice to have/Willing to learn)Experience in Distributed Technologies such as Java and service based architecture via RESTful APIs (Nice to have/Willing to learn)Awareness or exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, particularly in hybrid mainframe–cloud integration scenarios (Nice to have/Willing to learn)The TeamThe team is crafting a Brokerage Recordkeeping Platform in the public cloud.
