SummaryQuEra Computing is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join a fast-growing startup and help build the next generation of quantum computer management systems. In this role, you’ll contribute to our backend services written in Kotlin/Spring Boot and help shape and build our future user interface.Experience5–10 years of professional software development experienceBackend development experience in Kotlin, Java, or another object-oriented language, with a desire to use/learn KotlinFrontend development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern UI frameworks like React or VueSelf-motivated team player with a strong sense of ownershipHands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databasesFamiliarity with Docker and/or KubernetesStrong understanding of and RESTful web servicesPreferred ExperienceExperience with distributed cloud native architecturesExperience with micro services and event-driven architecturesExperience with event streaming platforms like Pulsar, Kafka, Pub/Sub, or KinesisExperience with AWS or other cloud service providersExposure to UI/UX design principles or building developer-friendly toolsNice to HaveExperience with PythonExperience working in agile, scrum, or kanban environmentsExperience or exposure to embedded development conceptsQuantum-curious, though not requiredWhy QuEra?The approximate base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $225,000.We consistently monitor external market data and update base salary ranges accordingly. We determine base compensation decisions on several factors, including as geographic placement, role-specific knowledge, skills, and/or experience.
