Accounts Payable Specialist

Quadel is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with 1–3 years of experience to support day-to-day financial operations. This role is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner
• Process HAP payments via check, ACH, or wire transfers
• Reconcile accounts payable ledger and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing reports and journal entries
• Support audits by providing required documentation and information

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry, reconciliation)
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in affordable housing or property management accounting is a plus

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
