Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Safely perform general labor tasks including cleaning, shoveling, and material handling* Support plant operations by assisting with equipment checks and basic maintenance activities* Monitor work areas to ensure safe, clean, and efficient production conditions* Follow standard operating procedures and communicate issues promptly* Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals**What Are We Looking For*** Commitment to working safely and following established procedures* Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and working in varied environmental conditions* Capability to learn and operate tools, equipment, and machinery used in plant operations* Reliability, adaptability, and strong teamwork skills* Willingness to perform a variety of tasks and support changing work priorities**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level**What We Offer*** $27.08 per hour* Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension* Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
