Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact in the educational journey of K-12 students as a dedicated school psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. You'll work on a contract basis, supporting students across a variety of grade levels near Lebanon, IN. This role is ideal for individuals who want to contribute their expertise in assessment, student advocacy, and collaboration with educators and families.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations
- Experience working with K-12 caseloads preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport with students, staff, and families
- Desire to foster positive, inclusive learning environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students’ academic, emotional, and social growth
- Attend meetings and contribute professional insights on student needs and progress
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district policies
