API Developer Location: Baltimore, Maryland (Hybrid) Role Overview Client is seeking a skilled professional to design, architect, implement, and support cloud-based, Salesforce, and big data solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams and customers to deliver scalable and efficient technical solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, architect, implement, and support front-end, back-end, and data-conversion solutions. Provide technical design and implementation of cloud-based and Salesforce solutions. Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and backend applications. Define and maintain current-state architecture blueprints. Research and evaluate new technologies and products for business applicability. Compare solution options and recommend the best fit for business needs. Ensure development activities are aligned with standards and best practices. Collaborate with development teams and customers to support big data solutions. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field. Equivalent experience may be considered. Master's degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in areas such as system analysis, system programming, application programming, and/or equipment analysis. At least 1 year of experience developing applications using advanced web-based technologies. Required Technical Skills Experience with cloud-based and Salesforce solutions. Knowledge of Internet protocols and web-based technologies. Experience with technologies such as HTML, CGI applications, PERL, JavaScript, and Java. Strong understanding of application architecture and infrastructure development.
