This individual will take on a key leadership role overseeing complex tax preparation and review, leading tax planning initiatives, and identifying opportunities to deliver greater value to clients. The Tax Manager will also mentor developing tax professionals, research complex tax matters, collaborate closely with clients and advisors, and help drive process improvements across the department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to combine technical expertise, client service, and team leadership in a growing organization.Day-to-Day:Review and prepare complex individual, partnership, trust, gift, and other tax returnsLead tax planning and quarterly projection activitiesIdentify opportunities to maximize client tax planning strategiesServe as a departmental leader and drive process improvementsMentor and develop tax associatesResearch complex tax matters and provide guidance to clients, advisors, and staffRespond to federal, state, and local tax authority correspondenceBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsPartner with clients and advisors to deliver high-quality tax servicesHelp drive overall team and departmental successMust-Haves:Bachelor's degreeEnrolled Agent (EA) required7+ years xhyhwjd of tax experienceExperience preparing and reviewing complex tax returnsStrong communication and client service skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and tax software applicationsExperience handling individual, partnership, trust, gift, and other complex tax returnsStrong tax research and planning capabilitiesPlusses:CPAFiduciary tax return experienceProSystem experienceBNA Income Tax Planner experienceIntelli-Connect experienceExperience with similar tax planning/research platforms
