VP of Compliance and Banking Relations

Phoenix Pro Connect is currently working with a client seeking a Vice President of Compliance and Banking Relations. This role involves managing banking relationships, overseeing regulatory compliance, and driving global expansion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in banking or fintech, strong leadership skills, and a strategic mindset.

This person will report to the CFO and will be working closely with other executive leaders . The ideal person will have experience in treasury, compliance, and banking relationships, both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the long-term vision and strategy for multiple product lines, prioritizing and creating an execution roadmap.
• Ensure corporate compliance, understanding, and communication of regulatory requirements and industry standards globally (KYC, KYB, and AML).
• Secure credit card fee reductions to enhance transaction profitability.
• Oversee the licensing process with the legal team to operate as an independent financial company.
• Build and launch new capabilities and products for value addition in new markets.
• Manage and nurture relationships with banking partners for smooth operations and strategic alignment.
• Oversee bank fee structures to reduce the cost of doing business.
• Ensure global compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (KYC and AML).
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt strategies.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the banking relationship team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
