Responsibilities
- Perform mammography examinations (screening and diagnostic) of the breast using specialized equipment.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning, shielding, and image quality in accordance with protocol.
- Operate mammography units and related digital imaging systems; adjust exposure factors as directed.
- Review images for quality and relay findings for radiologist interpretation; document patient information and exam data.
- Provide patient-centered care: explain procedures, address questions, and support comfort and safety during imaging.
- Maintain departmental workflow, participate in quality assurance, and uphold radiation safety standards.

Requirements
- 1+ year of radiology imaging experience; mammography experience preferred.
- Proficiency with mammography equipment and digital imaging systems.
- Ability to work in a travel assignment and adapt to new work settings.
- Strong patient communication and care skills.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and standard imaging protocols.
