Overview
Mammo Tech — Zzz Mammo Tech, Saint Helena, California. This travel assignment starts 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Weekly pay ranges from $2,020 to $2,136 per week with no guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12 Days. Admin fee is already deducted from the rate.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic mammography imaging, including screening and diagnostic views, with attention to image quality and patient safety.
- Position patients and equipment correctly, applying appropriate compression and technique to optimize results.
- Verify orders and patient information; ensure accurate labeling and timely transfer of images to PACS; coordinate with radiologists and colleagues.
- Maintain equipment quality through routine QC checks; monitor dose and adhere to radiation safety standards.
- Provide patient-centered care, explain procedures, address questions or concerns, and collaborate with the radiology team to ensure smooth workflow.
- No on-call and no weekend shifts required for this assignment.

Requirements
- Active California Radiologic Health Board license in X-ray and Mammography with CRT(M) certificate of Completion of Initial Training for Mammo
- ARRT Radiography (RT) and Mammography Technologist certification required in California
- 40-hour Certificate of Completion of Initial Training for Mammo; Digital/3D modality training; documentation of initial 25 supervised mammograms
- CEUS experience within the last 3 years; 200 mammograms performed in the last 24 months
- BLS (AHA or ARC) required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months
- Fluoroscopy license preferred; Venipuncture certification preferred
