Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs, ensuring to address both short-term and long-term therapeutic goals.
• Design, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans using evidence-based methodologies encompassing exercises, manual therapy, and modalities tailored to enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize various rehabilitation tools and technology, including therapeutic exercise equipment and software documentation systems, to track progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, providing detailed reports to facilitate effective communication among the healthcare team and adjustments in care approaches.
• Engage with patients and their families to educate them on treatment protocols, encourage compliance, and advise on preventive care techniques.
• Participate in regular team meetings to collaborate on patient care strategies and share best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends by participating in educational workshops, reviewing literature, and engaging with professional associations to enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients include a diverse set of individuals ranging from young children to seniors, facing various orthopedic conditions such as post-surgical recovery, injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. The successful candidate will appreciate working with a varied clientele and demonstrate a positive and encouraging attitude in helping each patient achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy and eligibility for reimbursement under insurance plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and word processing.
• Must be adaptable, demonstrating flexibility in approach to patient care and treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Work experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required, providing a great opportunity for recent graduates to develop their skills.
• Experience with orthopedic-specific rehabilitation techniques and modalities can be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
