Beginning September 21st and continuing through January 4th (with winter break off), you’ll fill a vital leave of absence role, working 20 hours per week across five days. This assignment supports students receiving Setting IV special education services, ensuring every child receives the care and assistance they deserve. There is the possibility of an extension beyond the initial term.

Your setting would be a collaborative and supportive educational environment focused on helping students thrive in their academic and daily routines. Your specialized OT knowledge will make a difference in the lives of students who require unique interventions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience providing OT services in a K-12 school-based environment is required
• Strong understanding of Setting IV special education services
• Ability to adapt interventions for diverse needs
• Must be in good standing from previous placements if already credentialed
• Reliable transportation is necessary
• Must be able to complete both agency onboarding and district background check
• Comfortable adhering to school schedule and assignment length

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students receiving Setting IV services
• Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and families to support student IEPs
• Maintain thorough documentation and reporting in alignment with school and state guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
