Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $1,915 a week in all, a taxable rate of $25 an hour plus $1,015.19 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Rehabilitation, Sacramento. This role provides patient-focused nursing care in an acute rehabilitation setting for adults recovering from spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, strokes, amputations, trauma, and orthopedic conditions. The position supports comprehensive rehabilitation, including wound care, tracheostomy care, isolation care, and recovery-focused treatment.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 6 months of experience in rehabilitation or an inpatient setting.
• Schedule: Day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM; 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week; every other weekend.
• Additional Information: Patient population includes adults with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, strokes, amputations, isolation needs, tracheostomies, wounds, and restraint requirements. The assignment includes an approximate patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5. Closed-toed shoes and short, natural nails without acrylic enhancements are required.
