Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor to oversee evening warehousing operations, inventory flow, and distribution staff. This role ensures smooth shift handoffs, maintains strict compliance with SQF and FDA food safety standards, and optimizes staging and shipping workflows for daily outbound customer orders.

salary: $52,000 - $55,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Direct and support 2nd-shift warehouse associates, forklift operators, and shipping/receiving clerks.

• Inventory & Shipping Management: Oversee picking, staging, loading, and receiving processes for dry ingredient products to guarantee order accuracy and timely dispatch.

• Food Safety & Compliance: Enforce cGMP, SQF, and FDA standards. Ensure allergen control procedures, lot traceability, FIFO protocols, and strict temperature/sanitation controls are executed daily.

• Shift Handover & Reporting: Coordinate seamlessly with 1st-shift supervisors to ensure operational continuity, communicate material shortages, and record daily shift productivity metrics.

• Equipment & Facility Safety: Enforce OSHA guidelines, conduct daily safety walk-throughs, and ensure all material-handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is operated and maintained safely.

• Team Development: Train new hires on warehouse procedures, ERP/WMS systems, safety policies, and efficient palletizing methods.
