Quick Facts: Location: 1235 East Cherokee Street, Springfield, MO 65804 Start Date: 12/31/2025 End Date/Duration: Open-ended / ongoing Shift: Varied shifts, as needed / flexible scheduling Hours/Week: Based on assignment needs Employment Type: Contract / Locum Licensure/Certifications: Medical license to practice in Missouri, board certification in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with obstetric focus Experience: Prior OB hospitalist experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $218.40/hour Pay package discussed upon application Weekly Pay Schedule via Direct Deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (when applicable) Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team committed to your success What You’ll Do: Provide specialized OB hospitalist coverage at a leading facility in Springfield, MO Manage obstetric emergencies, high-risk pregnancies, and basic gynecological emergencies Collaborate with hospital staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care Participate in on-call rotations, as scheduled Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and standards of care Document patient encounters accurately and timely What You Need: Active Missouri medical license Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with obstetric experience Minimum of 2+ years of OB hospitalist experience preferred Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecological emergencies Excellent communication and collaboration skills About the Assignment: Join a high-volume maternity unit with approximately 2,700–3,000 annual births, including Level 3 NICU support and managing gynecological emergencies.
