UI/UX Designer - Remote

UI/UX DesignerGenesis10 is currently seeking a UI/UX Designer for a remote position with a renowned healthcare organization. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. Compensation: $59.00 - $62.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications.Position Overview: As a UI/UX Designer, you will help design and deliver modern digital products and workflows that improve user experiences, enable key business capabilities, and support a more agile, product-focused organization. This role is part of a multi-year initiative to modernize technology and operational systems in support of future growth. You will team up with UX researchers to deeply understand user experiences and shape unique visual approaches through iterative prototype testing.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to all stages of the design process, including wireframing website layouts, designing mockups at multiple screen sizes, and developing UI documentation for hand-off to developersRepresent users in the design of user interfaces that reflect best practices for different device types and accessibilityParticipate in the user experience research process to establish design solutions that meet user needs and goalsIncorporate UX findings and brand identity into design patterns that are not only visually appealing but also enrich the user experienceCollaborate closely with other team members and stakeholders to improve navigation schemes, interaction patterns, and digital storytellingBuild familiarity with a component-based content management system and work closely with content contributors to create engaging webpage layoutsDevelop and adapt design specifications for front-end developers, taking into account feasibility and performance constraintsAdvocate for an inclusive, accessible, user-centered approach to each and every productCommunicate persuasively to stakeholders about design decisions and how they serve business objectivesPrimary Requirements:Bachelor's degreeAt least 5+ years of experience producing user interface designs with demonstrated impactExperience using user interface design software such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XDExperience with HTML, CSS, and the basics of front-end web developmentExperience with content design, UX writing, and the basics of digital marketing, search engine optimization, and content strategyExpert skills in UI design methods (prototyping, interaction flow diagrams, wireframes, and interface specifications) and strong visual design acumenUp-to-date knowledge of modern digital and interaction design principles and trendsAbility to clearly articulate complex design problems and solutions using strong communication and presentation skillsExperience addressing accessibility concerns for digital products, including optimizing for assistive technologiesA portfolio demonstrating deliverables throughout the design process for products/websites is helpfulDesired Skills:Health care or higher education experienceExperience using and contributing to design systemsExperience with requirements definition and backlog refinement (in tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)Experience with AI-assisted design and research toolsExperience in healthcare, laboratory operations, or client experienceOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
