About the Position

PLUMB365 is a growing residential plumbing service company serving San Diego County and surrounding areas. We’re looking for a dependable, organized, customer-focused Dispatcher / Customer Service Coordinator to join our office team in San Marcos.

This position plays an important role in our daily operation. You’ll communicate with customers, schedule and dispatch plumbers, coordinate service calls, follow up on jobs, and help keep the day running smoothly.

Excellent customer service and a strong phone personality are among the most important qualifications for this position. We’re looking for someone who is friendly, confident, professional, patient, and genuinely comfortable communicating with customers throughout the day.

Plumbing or home-service dispatch experience is preferred, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has excellent communication skills, good judgment, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls, texts, and service inquiries
• Provide friendly, professional customer service
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate arrival windows
• Dispatch plumbers throughout the day
• Adjust schedules as service calls, emergencies, and availability change
• Communicate job information clearly to technicians and customers
• Follow up with customers regarding estimates, scheduling, approvals, and completed work
• Coordinate Home Depot service customers, stores, and related service requests
• Maintain accurate customer and job notes in company systems
• Help resolve scheduling issues and customer concerns professionally
• Work closely with plumbers, management, and other office team members
• Learn and assist with additional office and operational responsibilities as the company continues to grow

• Comfortable handling changes to the schedule throughout the day
• Willingness to learn new responsibilities and systems
• Team-oriented attitude
• Plumbing dispatch experience preferred
• HVAC, electrical, or other home-service dispatch experience is also beneficial
• Previous dispatch, scheduling, call-center, or customer-service experience preferred
• Comfortable learning new software and computer systems
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be able to work weekends

Schedule

Full-time:
Wednesday through Sunday
7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Part-time:
Part-time schedules may also be considered. Saturday and Sunday availability is required. Additional weekday hours can be discussed based on the applicant’s availability and the needs of the company.

This is an in-office position in San Marcos, CA .

Compensation

$26.00–$30.00 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
