Dispatcher Lead – Join Our Winning Team! Location: Salem, NJ Job Type: Full-time Rate: Starting at $25/hr to $27/hr Hours: Monday through Friday; 11:00a- 730pm Are you an experienced dispatcher who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading a team? Harris Heating, Plumbing, Air & Electrical is looking for an energetic, motivated, and detail-oriented Dispatcher Lead to join our growing team! As Dispatcher Lead, you will play a key leadership role in our daily operations. You'll help oversee the Dispatch team, coordinate technician schedules, maximize productivity, and ensure our customers receive exceptional service. This position is ideal for someone who is ready to take the next step in their dispatch career and help lead a team to success. ServiceTitan experience is a huge plus—but we're willing to train the right person! What You'll Do Lead and support the Dispatch team to ensure smooth daily operations. Coordinate and oversee the efficient dispatch of technicians throughout the day. Assign the right technician to each job based on skillset, location, availability, and performance. Monitor technician schedules and make adjustments to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction. Coach, train, and support dispatchers in company procedures, scheduling practices, and customer service. Serve as a resource for dispatchers when handling challenging scheduling or customer situations. Monitor dispatch performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Communicate effectively with technicians, customers, managers, and other departments. Review work orders for accuracy and ensure corrections are made when needed. Monitor appointment history, technician performance, and scheduling trends to improve operational efficiency. Help manage high-volume phone calls, schedule changes, cancellations, and emergency service requests. Keep the Dispatch team motivated, organized, and focused on achieving company goals. Hold team members accountable to company processes, performance expectations, and customer service standards. Assist management with identifying workflow improvements and implementing best practices. Maintain professionalism and composure while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Provide outstanding customer service and represent Harris with a positive, professional attitude. Step in to assist with dispatching responsibilities as needed to support the team. What We're Looking For Previous dispatching, scheduling, or customer service experience required. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong understanding of technician scheduling and dispatch operations. ServiceTitan experience is a major plus! Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a high-volume environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure.
