For information about ABM's benefits, visit Employee Benefits | Staff & ManagementResponsibilitiesSpecific Responsibilities:Support ABM Mission & VisionSupport the performance of the branch operations including planned and unplanned maintenance/service call and project/retrofit delivery requirements.Support customer satisfaction initiatives and processSupport successful operations consistent with ABM Electrical Solutions Inc. policies, programs, procedures, systems and guidelines.Foster an environment that promotes timely communication and teamwork between Sales and ServiceSupport Training & Safety initiativesMaintain a clean DMV recordMaintain California State Certification General ElectricianProvide monthly interior and exterior lighting maintenance for multiple retail locationsTechnician to be responsible for an established and repetitive route each monthDaytime, nighttime and weekend hours required based on customer needsProvide information and quotes to direct report service manager(s) for additional work neededComplete paperwork using proper codes for materialsOperate a company vehicle following all safety rulesUse special high reach equipment as needed to complete jobWork independently in a timely mannerWorking knowledge of small hand toolsReport to supervisor at office as scheduledAble to carry ladders weighting up to 80 pounds, which is the 32-foot, fiberglass, rated "Red"Prolonged sitting due to driving, which is at least 15% of daily responsibilitiesStooping down working at ground level, and reaching above head to repair fixturesClimbing in and out of lift equipment in order to work at high reach levelsAble to lift ballasts weighing up to 25 pounds to install into fixturesPulling wireClimbing in and out of bed/back of truck and/or vansAble to wear tool belt with tools attachedAble to hold fixtures and frames and lenses, and drill for fixture installation and removalParticipating in on-call schedulePerforming other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma/GEDGeneral Journeyman Electrician certificationMinimum 2-5 years of experience performing lighting maintenance work for retail and commercialClean DVM recordPreferred:Aerial Lift Certification preferred, but not requiredMinimum 2-5 years boom truck experience strongly preferredMinimum 2 years of experience in writing estimates/ quotes preferredMicrosoft Office 2007 (including SharePoint, Outlook, and Word) experience preferredOSHA 10hr.
