Job Description Location: Reserve, LA Job Title: SLP - Speech Language Pathologist - School experience Contact: Kara McArthur (View email address on click.appcast.io) Details/Specifications: Full Time 2024 to 2025 school year PreK-12th Students, primarily elementary school students and early childhood intervention Onsite - District provided resources including SLP Supervisors supporting the team The Speech Language Pathologist will work with school students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. They will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapy services to help students improve their communication skills. Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in elementary school students Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with teachers and parents to implement them Provide therapy services to students to improve their communication skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as neededMaintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents and other professionals as necessary Participate in school-based meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in speech language pathology Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Must have CCC - Certificate of Clinical Competence Must have liability insurance Experience working with middle school students/ K-12 Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech language pathology Benefits: Hourly Pay - Starting at $38 hourly and depending on experience Weekly Direct Deposit W2 role APPLY BELOW If you or someone you know is a qualified fit, please send an up-to-date resume to View email address on click.appcast.io or call View phone number on click.appcast.io. #J-18808-Ljbffr
