About the Position

ROCS is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations for a growing organization. This position is ideal for a highly skilled forklift operator with strong Reach and Sit Down forklift experience who takes pride in safety, accuracy, and productivity.

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely moving inventory throughout the warehouse, assisting with receiving and shipping, and maintaining an organized and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail oriented, safety focused, and comfortable working in a fast paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Reach and Sit Down forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers
• Receive, store, pick, move, and ship inventory accurately and efficiently
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments
• Process orders and inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required documentation
• Inspect inbound shipments and identify and report discrepancies or damaged materials
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, vendors, customers, and internal teams
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Operate floor sweeping equipment and assist with general warehouse housekeeping
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Support team members and assist with additional warehouse duties as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of recent, verifiable forklift operating experience
• Strong Reach forklift experience required
• Strong Sit Down forklift experience required
• Cherry picker experience required
• Pallet jack experience required
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
• WMS experience preferred
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Dependable, punctual, and self motivated
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
