Packaging Technician

Summary The Repack-Label Technician Level 1 is responsible for performing tasks related to the repackaging and labeling of products. The role requires collaboration with the production team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, follows instructions precisely, and maintains a clean and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities Repackage products according to specified guidelines and customer requirements. Accurately label products, ensuring all information is correct and legible. Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet established standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Operate packaging and labeling equipment safely and efficiently. Identify and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor. Complete required documentation and logs accurately and on time. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic math skills for counting and measuring. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed. Desired Skills / Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment. Familiarity with packaging or labeling equipment. Understanding of safety and sanitation procedures in production settings.
