Secondary responsibilities include part-time Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems administration to support and maintain infrastructure critical to operations. The world can’t wait.You Have:1+ years of experience in network exploitation, protocol analysis, or cybersecurity operationsExperience with protocol reverse engineering or a desire to grow skills in reverse-engineering unknown or proprietary protocols Experience with tools such as Wireshark or tcpdump for analyzing, decoding, and working with network traffic Experience with Linux systems administration, especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), including updates, configuration, and troubleshootingExperience with containerization concepts and Docker or Podman for container management Experience using automation tools such as Ansible to automate and streamline administrative or operational tasks Knowledge of network communication protocols, such as TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, and concepts for the OSI model Knowledge of basic programming or scripting using Python, C, C++, or Bash for automation and network analysisTS/SCI clearanceHS diploma or GEDNice If You Have:Experience with protocol fuzzing techniques to test and identify vulnerabilities in communication systems Experience with additional offensive tools such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, or Scapy Experience with network device configuration and management such as routers, switches, and firewallsExperience creating playbooks or automating workflows with Ansible Knowledge of continuously improving containerized workloads with tools such as Docker and PodmanKnowledge of embedded systems debugging and protocols like UART, JTAG, or SPIPossession of strong analytical thinking skills and eagerness to learn new technologies and technical concepts quickly to apply them to problem-solving Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or technical disciplineEntry-level Certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or RHCSA CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
